Collins S-line Antenna Tuner
I put up a doublet antenna, and needed an antenna tuner to match the radio, both impedancely and asthetically. The two capacitor tuners are GE velvet vernier drives with a Collins knob, and the impedance tuning is a Collins escutcheon and knob, and an EF Johnson dial.
The insides. You can see the Collins meter bridges on the back.
It was a tight fit for the caps, so I had to cut a hole and lower it into the chassis. I used a MOSFET to take the 6.3 filament power from the 32S-3 to switch on the lighting in the tuner.
I had to replace the accordion coupling with an Oldham coupling, as the shaft offset was too much for the pleats, you can see it starting to crack already in one of the other images.
